Frequencies & Nets

Dawson County ARES® participates in two weekly training nets.

The first net is held every Wednesday at 7:00 PM EST on the N4KHQ 70cm repeater (442.100, + offset, 100.0 PL Tone). The second net is held every Thursday at 7:30 PM EST in conjunction with the Lumpkin County ARES® organization on the N4KHQ 2M repeater (146.835, + offset, 100.0 PL Tone).


Additionally, many members join the Georgia ARES® Northwest District Net held every Tuesday at 9:00PM EST on the KC4AQS repeater (146.805, + offset, 100 PL Tone). The Georgia AuxComm D-Star Net held the 3rd Monday of every month on D-Star Reflector 003A, and the Georgia ARES® Winlink P2P net held every Sunday on 80M & 10M frequencies.

The members of Dawson County ARES® sincerely thanks Mr. Pete Seabolt (N4KHQ) for the use of his 2M & 70cm repeaters for our nets.
